One of the things that amaze me is that there is beauty and depth in the Qur’an. Qur’an is a guide for those who read it with understanding. As Allah says in verse 9 of Surah Saad: (This book) a full of blessings that we have sent down to you, so that people may ponder its verses and the wise ones take heed. While reading the Qur’an, I marked the verses and Surahs in which Allah talks to us about His Holy Book. This is a miracle that was revealed to the greatest prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) out of all the messengers sent by Allah. There are 114 surahs in Quran. The surahs of the Qur’an are also called chapters and the length of these surahs is from pages to words and consists of verses.
The Longest Surah in Quran and their benefits:
The longest surah of the Qur’an is Surah al-Baqarah which means “The Cow” or “The Heifer”. This Surah consists of 286 verses. This Surah begins with mysterious letters means “Haroof-e-Muqatta’at’ Alif.Laam.Meem. This chapter contains the longest verse of the Qur’an which is also called Ayat-ud-Deen and this is a 282 verse of the Qur’an. About this, our beloved Prophet (S.A.W.W) said: A guard is appointed for those who recite this Surah at night. (Sahih Bukhari 4723). And Allah says about this Surah that whoever recites this Surah is safe from power to ward off evil spirits and sorcery.
The most powerful and essence Surahs:
The Surah-al-Fatihah (The First Surah of Quran) and Surah Yaseen are the (thirty-six surah in Quran) are the most powerful and essence Surahs in Quran. Surah Al-Fatiha is a Dua of the Quran and Surah Yaseen is the heart of the Quran. This surah Fatiha has an essential role in Islamic prayer. Its seven verses are a prayer for the guidance and clemency of Allah. Its seven verses are a prayer for the guidance and clemency of Allah similarly; the main theme of Surah Yaseen is to explain some of the basic tenets of Islam. In Sahi Bukhari Whoever does not recite Surat Al-Fatihah in his prayer, his prayer is nullified. and Whoever recites Surah Yaseen and Surah Fatiha at night seeking Allah’s approval, Allah would forgive him.
Quran Shortest Surah:
Surah Al-Kausar is the shortest surah in Qur’an. there are 3 ayat in it and 10 words. The purpose of Surah Al-Kouser is that Allah says the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W) to pray to him only. Surah Kauser summarizes devotion and spirituality. This Surah tells us how Allah brought Muhammad (S.A.W.W) the source of great abundance. For this reason, in this Surah, Allah says that the Prophet should take Dua and offer sacrifices. Every surah of the Quran has important benefits, but there are endless benefits associated with Surah Kausar.
